Most notebooks get abandoned after a week: the paper feels cheap, notes become impossible to find, and nothing pulls you back to the page. This one fixes all three, with paper from Germany's renowned Gmund mill, a contents page and twin ribbons for order, and fresh inspiration waiting every time you turn the page.

The result is a notebook you will actually finish, and one that feels as good on your desk as it does in your hands.

What makes the paper special?

It is bespoke paper from Gmund, a German mill known for its craftsmanship. It is 100% recycled, FSC-certified and exceptionally smooth to write on.

Which pens work best?

The smooth paper suits ballpoints, gel pens and fine-liners. With fountain pens or very wet inks, test on the last page first.

Are there quotes on every page?

Yes. Each page carries a carefully selected inspirational quote, so motivation is always on hand.

How do the contents page and ribbons help?

Index your topics on the contents page, then use the two ribbons to jump straight to today's notes and an ongoing project.

Is it eco-friendly?

Yes. The paper is recycled and FSC-certified, the cover and ribbons are cotton, and the notebook is plastic-free, recyclable and compostable.

Is it lined, dotted or blank?

It is lined, ideal for notes, journaling and planning.

How is it different from the Five Minute Journal?

The Five Minute Journal is a guided gratitude journal with daily prompts; this notebook gives you open lined pages for any kind of writing.

Does it make a good gift?

Yes. The cotton cover, German craftsmanship and inspiring quotes make it a thoughtful gift for colleagues, graduates and journal lovers.
