1. Rinse in warm soapy water before first use.
2. Load into the dishwasher, or wash by hand to keep the glaze bright for longer.
3. Choose a soft sponge, as metal scourers and abrasive powders can scratch the surface.
4. Keep it out of the microwave and oven to protect the glaze and stoneware.
5. After chilling, let it reach room temperature before washing in hot water.
6. Place a cloth or felt pad between stacked pieces to protect the rim from chips.

• Families gathering for iftar, Friday lunch or ghabga

Flat plates can't cope with dressing, and plain bowls rarely feel special. This dish solves both: deep walls keep food contained, while hand-drawn flowers turn a weeknight fattoush into something worth photographing. It's one durable, easy-care piece that moves from quick dinners to festive occasions, ready to pair with its sister pieces whenever you want to expand your collection.

Yes. The family-size oval and high sides comfortably hold a shared salad, machboos rice, pasta, curries or roasted vegetables with room to spare.

It is dishwasher safe, but microwave and oven use are not recommended. Serve at room temperature or transfer warm food from the dish it was heated in.

The irregular form is intentional, giving every dish an artisan, handmade character, so it is not a defect.
